They met through work after Stephanie was invited to go see a local band by a coworker at the radio station (you can listen to her in the afternoons on Power 92.3). She didn't want to go, but is glad she did. It was Josh's band, Mindset Evolution, they saw that night and of course that was just the start of things. They followed up their first meeting with a date to a Foo Fighter's concert (seriously, is this a couple after my own heart, or what?!).
We started their session off downtown for some very cool urban shots. We explored the unturned side of the warehouse district and I'm glad we did. We found some railroad tracks and as Steph informs me "Josh loved trains as a kid". Well, I think he secretly still likes them and at my request pulled the handle to an old track switch to see if it would still work. He looked pretty excited to perform this task and that is still did. After some hot shots, we made our way over to riverfront park to cool down and play on the swing set. It was the perfect end to a perfect evening. I had such a hard time narrowing down these images to 15 favorites. I could have posted a zillion. I stared at my screen for hours choosing. What a good problem to have!
There is no doubt that these two will be rocking on for years to come. They are both totally down to earth and completely into each other. They're getting married in August and I'm sorry I can't be there for all the fun. I wish you both the best and can't thank you enough for letting me into your world for a couple of hours.
